Software that works for the people who use it.
Laminae is a small New Zealand company. We make software that keeps your data on your own device, asks plainly for what it needs and why, and doesn't lock you into subscriptions.
Aesthesia
In testing on AndroidAesthesia is a field of light and sound on your phone. Small cells join into shapes that form, drift and come apart on their own. Your finger drives the field, and the sound in the room can too, if you choose the microphone. The field can be heard as well as seen.

Testing Aesthesia
The first test runs from October 2026, by invitation, with a small group of people in New Zealand. You need an Android phone running Android 8 or newer. It's an early version, so some things will be rough.
- Email us at developer-feedback@laminae.co.nz with the email address of the Google account you use for the Play Store on your Android phone (it has to be that account), and your phone's make and model.
- Join from the link we send you. Open it on your phone, join the test, and install Aesthesia from the Google Play Store as usual.
- Use it a few times over about two weeks. Ten minutes here and there is plenty.
- Tell us what you noticed: whether the field responds the way you expect; whether the sound keeps going when you switch apps, and whether its notification tells the truth; roughly what an hour of it costs in battery; and anything that freezes, stops, or comes back wrong.
Your email address goes only into Google Play's tester list, and we remove it whenever you ask.
